International Women’s Day was created to fight for gender equality around the world and to raise awareness of the issues facing girls everywhere. Women around the world are constantly trying to protect themselves from discrimination on the streets, in the workplace and in the gambling industry. The Game of the Girl online board includes women telling their stories and discussing their experiences in the workplace.
Game of Girls is hosted by comedian and sports journalist Eli Gibson, Anita Wong of Indigo Pearl, Izzy Jagan of Square Enix, Jade King from Trusted Reviews and Imogen Meller of Gamenible. They will discuss their treatments in the workplace and celebrate women in gambling.
Girls’ Day is active from October 7 to 14 and funds are raised for it War Children United Kingdom, Supporting the rights of children in war. The Game of the Girls online panel will be hosted via Zoom on October 7, between 12:00 – 13:00 BST, you can sign up for the event in here.
