WhatsApp makes deleting tired memes, large files much easier with new filters
WhatsApp has given its store management interface its first fresh paint job after 3 years. Comes with some new filters and ease of use enhancements.
Users who have received the new plan can go to the app settings, select Storage and Data, and then Manage Storage. If the disk is overcrowded, a warning card will also be provided that can be tapped on the WhatsApp chat tab.
There is a storage meter at the top of the screen and there are two new media filter bubbles: Items sent forward many times – go respond! – and larger than 5MB. Users can preview specific media sections, order files in size, and then selectively delete them in bulk. As before, they can scroll down to check single chat threads.
The new look will be rolled out to all users this week.
