LG’s Stylo 5 was launched about a year ago with Android Pi. When we reviewed it, we saw that the device had a good design and amazing battery life, but due to LG’s history, its prospects for software updates were not clear. The future is not yet certain, and we are pleased that LG has finally given a big fresh look to the phone and the company has started releasing the Android 10 update on the Stylo 5.
Reddit reports that the new OTA upgrade will be available at least from multiple carriers, including Verizon and MetropCS. This update brings Android 10 features like Gesture Navigation and Advanced Privacy Control. If it is not yet available for your device, it will be available soon.
You might think 10 months is a long time to wait for this, but consider yourself lucky. I shudder to think how long we would have waited if LG’s Software Upgrade Center had not worked hard to give us quick updates. LG’s other devices are lined up, and according to the company’s roadmap, it will be updating devices to Android 10 by the end of this year.

Not a word yet about updates from Boost Mobile.
