In the video, a typical EV animation highlights a vehicle’s battery and sends or receives power from the motor. The layout of the infotainment system is different from that of the current Bolt EV and has less screen control than the battery power feature. For example, the large green ribbon for power carried to the left corner of the current Bolt display has now been replaced by a single sheet next to the controllers for the navigation, telephone, media and home button.
At the bottom of the screen, the climate controls are removed from the same angular plane of view and are significantly shrunk by the larger buttons and bolts on the current bolts.
Usually the controls and lines on the video do not have a white and dark-gray color scheme, instead they get a darker look. In the distance, we see that the dashboard has a darker color palette than the infotainment system.
What we see in this teaser is at least different than it looks. However, the Bolt EUV was the first Chevy product and the first EV to incorporate Cadillac’s Supercross Handsfree driver assist technology. GM says the 2022 Bolt and Bolt EUV will be in showrooms in the summer of 2021.
